Pre-cooled and graded
Forced-air cooling pulls the core to 4°C within hours. Then size, colour, brix and defect grading — our staff train on the same ten commodities, apple to tomato, so the grade means the same in every origin.

Into the reefer
Pre-cooled containers only. The set-point is per commodity — grapes at 1°C, bananas at 13°C — with data loggers riding in the load. Sea from the Americas and Africa, air from India and Kenya.

Cleared in-house
Health certificates, certificates of origin and customs declarations are prepared before the vessel berths. Clearance is measured in hours, not days — the container never sits in the sun.

Our own cold store
A cold-storage division since 2004. Each commodity in its own room at its own temperature, AEROCIDE air treatment cutting bacteria, yeast and mould, LED lighting that adds no heat, non-toxic refrigerants.

On your dock by five
Chiller trucks leave Al Aweer from 5 AM. Supermarkets restock before the doors open, hotels before breakfast service. Same cold from the orchard to your back door.
